Welcome to the 2nd Online Dance Competition!

After the success of our first competition, with the participation of over 1,000 dancers, we are back stronger and with more experience to organize an even more impressive competition! Whether you are an amateur or a professional, we invite you to participate in our 2nd Video Competition! This year, taking your suggestions into account, we have added the following new elements to the competition:

The dance categories K-Pop, Flamenco, Aerial, Zeibekiko, Tango Argentino, and Para Dance have been added.

Artistic Video

A new category has been added for all dance styles, the "artistic video." We give dancers the freedom to create and record their dance, without restrictions or rules on the video, expressing their art in the way they desire! Multiple cameras, scene changes, effects, etc., are allowed. See the detailed regulations by selecting the dance style that interests you below.

Why should I participate?

Prizes-Mementos

All competition participants, regardless of their score, will receive a participation certificate with a QR code linking to their video. Our sponsors and prizes will be announced gradually.

    The winners will receive medals and/or trophies by mail. Details about the medals and trophies will be available soon.

    Gifts from Sponsors (Dance Items, Seminars, Competitions, etc.)

    Sponsors and prizes offered by them per category will be announced soon.

    Money Prize

      For every style of dance the prize will be:
    • 100€ for the best solo*
    • 400€ for the best group*
    • 200€ for the best duet*

    Promotion on Social Media

    The winners will be featured through Dancelink.gr's social media. There will be related Reels for the best videos of the competition.

    Premium Profile for Dancers and Choreographers on Dancelink.gr

    Teachers participating as choreographers or dancers, who are members of our site or will become members, will receive a free upgraded "gold" profile for 6 months. Winners will receive a "platinum" upgraded profile for 6 months. If the teacher's participation exceeds 100 euros, the upgraded profile will last for 1 year.

    Promotion for Dance Schools

    All schools participating and members or future members of our site will receive a free upgrade to a "gold" profile for 6 months. Winners will receive a "platinum" profile upgrade for 6 months. If the school's participation exceeds 150 euros, the upgraded profile will last for 1 year.

For each subsequent entry in the above dance categories, there is an additional discount. The costs are: solo: €13, duet: €10, group: €8.

For each subsequent entry in the Latin, standard, salsa, bachata categories, the cost is reduced to €5. If someone participates in the PRO/AM category, it is considered the first category.

Frequently Asked Questions

Below you will find the most common questions about our competition.
Who can participate?
The competition is open to everyone!
Can I add the sound after filming the video?
Yes, you can add sound to the video, except for the Flamenco category, as the footwork should be distinct.
Can I use video from competitions or performances or from another event?
It can be used as long as there is no logo that doesn’t belong to you or people who haven’t consented to the video being submitted.
Where should the video be filmed?
There are no location restrictions. It can be filmed in your studio, a theater, an outdoor location, or any other place.
Will I be exposed if I receive a low score?
The goal of our competition is to promote your work and the dance scene in Greece and Cyprus. Scores under 70% will not be publicly announced.
How will I know my results?
The results will first be announced on our live YouTube stream, where only videos of participants who wish to will be shown. Later, the results will be emailed to each participant individually.
How can I pay?
You can pay after submitting your participation request. We will then send you the payment details via email. You can pay either by bank transfer or via IRIS.
What are the restrictions for the videos?
Videos must have a minimum resolution of 720p. Additionally, in all categories except artistic videos, the video must be filmed with a single camera, without scene changes and without interruption. Zooming is allowed, but it should not interfere with judging the choreography and technique (there are no restrictions for artistic videos). Be mindful of the time limits for each category.
What are the criteria for winning prizes?
The rules for this will be posted soon. Unlike last year, the top three in each category will receive a trophy or medal, regardless of their score.
